Brampton College North London

Welcome to Brampton College, based in Hendon, North London. We are minutes from Hendon underground station, which is short journey to Central London on the Northern Line.

Students come to Brampton with the aim of gaining high grades in their examinations and obtaining entry to the university course of their choice. Our aim is to help each individual student succeed in their aspirations and achieve their best possible exam results. We have been a top independent sixth form college in London (for the last 15 years) and our exam results regularly put us in the top 5 of UK sixth form colleges.

We achieve these results through having a staff of highly dedicated and enthusiastic teachers together with small classes where students can receive individual help and attention. Individual tutorials are also available in major subject areas.

A broad and flexible curriculum allows students to find the course that best suits their needs. We offer 24 different A Levels and have 1 or 2 year courses. We also offer 1 year GCSE courses. The atmosphere in the College is friendly and informal but with a high level of academic discipline. Regular homework and examination practice, closely monitored by personal tutors, are balanced by a range of extra-curricular activities. Specialist careers teachers provide support on every aspect of university application. As Principal I work closely with the Vice Principals, Sarah Sephton and Mike Wheeldon and the College benefits greatly from the knowledge and expertise that our experience provides.

We are registered with the Department for Education as an independent school and a member of the Independent Schools Association. We are inspected by the ISI, a Government approved inspectorate responsible for the inspection of Association independent schools.
